Modern slavery and human trafficking statement
Last updated 15 May 2026.
Tamazia is below the £36 million annual turnover threshold of section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and therefore not legally required to publish this statement. We publish it voluntarily because clients in regulated sectors evaluate suppliers on these grounds and because the practice scales with the business.
Who we are
Tamazia is a lawyer-led SEO and compliance content advisory operating across the UK, EU, US, and Middle East. The team is based in London, United Kingdom. Engagements are delivered by a small permanent team and a vetted network of freelance contributors.
Our supply chain
Our supply chain is short. The principal categories are software-as-a-service (Cloudflare, Resend, Google Workspace, GitHub, Cal.com), professional services (legal, accounting), and freelance content contributors. We do not operate any physical supply chain involving manufacturing, raw materials, agriculture, hospitality staff, or construction.
Our policies
We require all freelance contributors to confirm they are working voluntarily, are aged 18 or over, and are not subject to any restriction on their movement or income. Payment is made directly to the individual into a bank account in their own name within 14 days of invoice. We do not engage agencies that mark up labour or hold contributor identification documents.
Risk assessment
The principal risks in our footprint are concentrated in the freelance contributor pool, particularly contributors based in jurisdictions with weaker labour protections. We mitigate this by paying directly, using digital signatures, and avoiding sub-contracting layers.
Effectiveness
We measure effectiveness by tracking three indicators each year: the proportion of contributors paid directly versus through agencies (target 100%), the proportion of contributors invoicing in their own legal name (target 100%), and the average payment cycle (target less than 14 days).
Approval
This statement is approved annually by Aman Pareek as the responsible officer for the Tamazia operating entity.
